Origami Troll Dolls

Image
Grab your   origami paper . 1.    Place your paper white side up.    Then, valley fold the paper along the diagonals and open the paper up.     (Note:  This will make a white troll doll with blue hair.   To make a blue troll doll with white hair, switch the colors in the photos and start off with the blue side up instead.) 2.    Now fold the paper in half. 3.    And then fold the paper in half again. 4.    Turn your paper around so that the open edges are closer to you.    If you stick your finger into the top flap, you should be able to pull the paper to create a triangle.     Press down once you have a triangle. 5.    Now flip around your paper around.    We're going to make a triangle with the other side.    To do this, move your paper flap side to side along the crease  (to help the paper flatten down better.) 6.    Stick your finger inside the flap again and you'll see a triangle start to form like in step 4. 7.    Push down and you'll get a triangle on both sides. 8.

👯Toilet Roll Mermaid and her best gal pal, Hula Girl👯 Here’s all you’ll need to make this adorable craft! Materials: Toilet Roll Cores Construction Paper Glue Scissors Markers (Sharpies are best) Glitter Glue Pens (easier to use than loose glitter! and less cleanup!!) Craft Paint Paint Brush First, paint your toilet paper tubes in peach, tan, or brown. (I didn’t have any of those colors, so I mixed together orange, green, and white to create a nice tan color.) Once the paint is dry, draw on the faced with your Sharpie marker. Cut out the hair, bra, skirt, and tail bits from brightly colored construction paper. Use your glitter glue pens and Sharpie markers to add the fun details. Notes: To make the hair, I simply cut out a long horizontal piece to make the bangs, and shorter pieces to make strands of hair. I made two tails for the mermaid and waited until the end to decide which one I liked the best. To make the grass skirt, I cut some paper fringe. Curl your construction paper str

How to Fold an Origami Mermaid! Materials Needed: Sharpie Markers Scissors Origami Paper Tape    Note: I am an origami newbie, so yes, I use scissors and tape.    But, I still consider this an origami project because we are mostly folding paper to create this mermaid! Part 1:  How to Fold the Mermaid's Face Step 1:    Grab a piece of skin colored paper.    Place the white side up.    Fold your paper in half one way and unfold.    Then, fold it in half the other way and unfold. Step 2: Now flip the paper over so that the paper is brown/peach side up.   (Mine doesn't look brown because of the bad lighting.    Sorry!    But it's brown.)    Now fold the paper in half diagonally.                                                                                                   Step 3: 3a.    Now open up your fold and flip the paper back so the white side is up. 3b.   and 3c.    Your paper now has crease marks so that when it is pressed on both sides and flattened...   it should
